Wanting to learn and explore Kubernetes on real hardware instead of virtual machines, I decided to build myself a Raspberry Pi cluster mount for a 19" rack. Currently I do not have access to a proper workshop but I have a 3D printer :)

So we started designing a mount, the requirements were as follows:

• up to 8 nodes
• PoE for clean wiring
• NVMe storage for proper disk i/o

and this is what I came up with:

The mount was designed in FreeCad 1.0 and printed with ToughPLA on a BambuLab X1C. Here are the files if you want to print it yourself:
